Adil Waheed, DO

Adil Waheed, DO, FSCAI, is a five board-certified and fellowed interventional cardiologist at Penn Highlands Cardiology in Monongahela.

Dr. Waheed specializes in diagnosing and treating coronary artery disease, vascular disease, structural heart disease and congenital heart defects. He has more than two decades of experience in interventional cardiology, and he provides patients with expert care for even the most complex cases.

Dr. Waheed graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh and fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiology at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, N.J.

Dr. Waheed is featured in Pittsburgh Magazine as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Osteopathic Association and Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is also a fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
