Anthony Cuneo, MD, PhD

Anthony A. Cuneo, MD, PhD is a pain management physician at Penn Highlands Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Cuneo is highly experienced in interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine, as well as non-operative spine and pain management.

He is a fellowship-trained specialist and was named a Top Physician Under 40 in 2020 in Pennsylvania. He was selected as chief resident during his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Temple University Hospital/Moss Rehabilitation, where he was also awarded Resident Teacher of the Year. He is a recipient of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute Ruth L. Kirchstein Predoctoral Fellowship. He received a PhD from Temple University in Cellular and Molecular Physiology.
