Evrard Tchapda, MD

Evrard Tchapda, MD is a family medicine resident physician who grew up in Cameroon, West Africa, where he spent the earlier part of his life before moving to Wisconsin at the age of 18. In Wisconsin, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater majoring in Biology. Dr. Tchapda has always had a passion for healthcare and helping others so making the choice to further his education into medical school was an easy one. Dr. Tchapda completed his medical school education at the University of Indiana School of Medicine and choose to do his residency at PHH.

Drawn to the opportunity to train and practice the full scope family medicine here in the DuBois area, Dr. Tchapda is very excited to be part of the Penn Highlands family where he looks forward to building strong relationships. One of the big draws to family medicine practice for Dr. Tchapda is being able to form lifelong bonds with his patients.

In his free time, Evrard loves to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of the DuBois area, ex-plore the wonderful trails, play soccer, watch sports, and try local cuisine.
