Vihan Shah, DO

Dr. Shah grew up in India and later moved to the United States, where he spent most of his time in New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University, where he completed both his undergraduate degree in Biology and a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Shah then earned his medical degree from the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He chose family medicine because it offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across all stages of life, from infancy to adulthood. The field’s emphasis on comprehensive and continuous care allows him to address diverse health issues and work closely with patients and their families to promote overall well-being. Dr. Shah is particularly passionate about behavioral health, lifestyle medicine, and preventive care.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Shah is passionate about staying active through swimming and practicing Muay Thai, as well as exploring new hiking trails. He also enjoys binge-watching TV shows and experimenting in the kitchen, learning to cook authentic Indian dishes that remind him of home.
