Syam Khan, DO

Syam Khan, DO is originally from New Jersey where he completed his undergraduate studies with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry at Fairleigh Dickinson University. After his undergraduate years, he ventured out to Pennsylvania to pursue medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. Syam has had a passion for the field of Psychiatry since college, which carried over into his medical career. He also has a natural drive to serve rural populations, which is what brought him to Penn Highlands in DuBois.

Outside of the hospital, Syam has a curiosity and ambition to pursue different and new hobbies. You’ll either catch him in the kitchen cooking up a meal from a new recipe he found, or at the gym throwing weights around, or with his camera taking pictures of the natural sights Pennsylvania has to offer. Syam is thrilled to start his career at Penn Highlands in DuBois. As someone who strongly advocates for his community, he’s ever ready to give back to his new home and become a part of the DuBois family.
