Amanda V. Ascano, MD

Amanda Ascano MD is a Family Medicine Resident at Penn Highlands Healthcare. From Toronto, Canada, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Honors Biomedical Sciences at York University and her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ascano is passionate about family medicine for its opportunity to build lasting patient relationships and is interested in Preventative and Lifestyle Medicine, Dermatology, and Maternal and Child Health. At Penn Highlands, she looks forward to enhancing her clinical skills and advancing her medical knowledge while serving the DuBois community.

Outside of work, she enjoys music, painting, and spending time with her dog.
