Penn Highlands Healthcare offers 849 physicians who provide a wide range of care and treatments at our nine hospitals and locations throughout 26 counties in Pennsylvania that include community medical buildings, outpatient facilities, surgery centers and physician practices. We are pleased to welcome the following physicians who recently joined our medical staff.
Anthony J. Cocciolone, DO
Connellsville, Monongahela
Board-certified emergency medicine physician Anthony J. Cocciolone, DO, joins the teams at Penn Highlands Connellsville, located at 401 East Murphy Avenue in Connellsville, and Penn Highlands Mon Valley, located at 1163 Country Club Road in Monongahela.
Dr. Cocciolone is experienced in treating complex and critical needs, including life-threatening circumstances ranging from stroke and heart attack to injuries following a traumatic accident.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Cocciolone practiced at Westmoreland Emergency Medicine Specialists in Greensburg.
Dr. Cocciolone is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
Andrew O’Donnell, DO
DuBois
Family medicine physician Andrew O’Donnell, DO, joins the team at Penn Highlands Family Medicine, located at 145 Hospital Avenue, Suite 315, in DuBois.
Dr. O’Donnell is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Horizon – Shenango Valley in Farrell. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
Elliott Perow, MD
Clearfield, DuBois, Huntingdon, State College, Tyrone
Emergency medicine physician Elliott Perow, MD, joins the emergency department teams at Penn Highlands Clearfield, located at 809 Turnpike Avenue in Clearfield, Penn Highlands DuBois, located at 100 Hospital Avenue in DuBois, Penn Highlands Huntingdon, located at 1225 Warm Springs Avenue in Huntingdon, Penn Highlands State College, located at 239 Colonnade Boulevard in State College and Penn Highlands Tyrone, located at 187 Hospital Drive in Tyrone.
Dr. Perow is a graduate of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Del., where he was named chief resident.
He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and he is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Emergency Medicine Residents Association.
Jack Schocker, MD
State College
Radiation oncologist Jack D. Schocker, MD, FACR, joins the team at the Hahne Cancer Center, located at 239 Colonnade Boulevard in State College.
Dr. Schocker has nearly five decades of experience and is a residency-trained specialist, conferring upon him the highest degree of training and education in his field. He offers several kinds of radiation therapy, including image-guided radiotherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery and volumetric-modulated arc therapy.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Schocker practiced at UPMC Altoona in Altoona and Allentown Hospital/Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown.
Dr. Schocker is a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency in radiation oncology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed his fellowship in clinical oncology at the American Cancer Society in Philadelphia. He is a fellow of the American College of Radiology.
