Welcome Julie Hart, PA-C
Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified physician assistant Julie Hart, PA-C, to its medical staff.
Julie joins the teams at the Hahne Cancer Center and Penn Highlands Radiation Oncology, both located at 239 Colonnade Boulevard, first floor, in State College.
Julie works with the team at Penn Highlands to provide radiation therapy, which is high-dose radiation to treat cancer and one of the most common types of cancer treatment.
Common treatments and procedures include follow-up care after therapy, initial patient assessments, patient education, radiation therapy, radiation treatment management, radiation treatment plans and side effect management.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Julie gained clinical experience at Kadlec Clinic Associated Physicians for Women in Richland, Wash.; Pediatric Care Specialists in Ebensburg and Johnstown; Guthrie East Corning General Surgery in Corning, N.Y.; Mount Nittany Emergency Department in State College; Enlighten Psychiatric Services at Lewistown; Family Medicine Associates of Northridge in Northridge, Calif.; UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh; and UPMC Altoona Hospital in Altoona.
Julie earned her Master of Physician Assistant Science and Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Saint Francis University in Loretto.
