Welcome Erica Rulon, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified registered nurse practitioner Erica Rulon, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C, to its medical staff.

Erica joins the emergency department teams at Penn Highlands Huntingdon, located at 1225 Warm Springs Avenue in Huntingdon, and Penn Highlands State College, located at 239 Colonnade Boulevard in State College.

With nearly a decade of nursing experience, Erica provides expert care to patients experiencing major injuries or illnesses. She utilizes advanced medical equipment and works collaboratively with physicians and other medical staff.

Common treatments and procedures include symptoms of a heart attack, symptoms of a stroke, broken bones, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, severe abdominal pain, severe allergic reaction, uncontrolled bleeding, sudden, severe headache and other serious illnesses or injuries.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Erica practiced at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College; Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Okla.; and as a travel nurse.

Erica earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
