Anne Adams, PA-C, MS LAT. ATC

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes certified physician assistant Anne Adams, PA-C, MS LAT. ATC, to its medical staff.

Anne joins the team at Penn Highlands Trauma Services, located at 145 Hospital Avenue, Suite 215, in DuBois.

She provides expert care for patients experiencing serious injuries from automobile collisions, severe burns, brain injuries, gunshot wounds and serious injuries resulting from falls.

Common treatments and procedures include evaluation of trauma patients, emergency management of illness and injuries, laboratory and radiographic tests, and pre- and post-operative care through the critical care portion of recovery.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Anne gained clinical experience at J.W Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.; Butler Health System in Butler; Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, Penn.; Allegheny Health Network in Grove City; UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics in Hermitage; UPMC Blair Medical Associates in Altoona; and Family Center for Recovery in Lantana, Fla.

Anne earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, her Master of Science in Sports Psychology and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven.
