Penn Highlands Healthcare at Home to Host Blue Christmas Service

The holidays are a season of joyful anticipation and often cast a dark shadow on those navigating grief, loss and despair. December 21 is the longest night of the year – a fitting night for a distinct holiday service that welcomes those grieving and hurting. Penn Highlands Healthcare at Home is hosting a Blue Christmas Service on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield, PA for those whose pain overshadows the season’s joy.

“Everyone is invited to attend the interfaith service to find consolation that they are not alone,” explained Mary Lou Wehler, Bereavement/Volunteer Coordinator for Penn Highlands Healthcare at Home. “The holiday season can be a particularly sad time for those who have lost love ones and this service can help bring them comfort and hope.”

Fellowship and refreshments will follow the service.

The church is located at 121 S. Second Street in Clearfield.

RSVP to Mary Lou Wehler at 814-788-8002.
