Dr. Gary DuGan Memorial 5K Run/Walk 2024
Penn Highlands Healthcare is hosting a timed 5K Walk/Run in memory of Dr. Gary DuGan.
REGISTER FOR THE RUN!
We welcome families, dogs, and participants of all ages to join us for a day of fun! Registration/Check-in will begin at 7:30 AM with a race start time of 9:00 AM at the DuBois City Park, Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater, pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
In addition to the 5K, there will be various vendors, activities for kids, and a free Zumba class to follow.
Dr. Gary DuGan is remembered for his many contributions at Penn Highlands Healthcare. Dr. DuGan was an integral figure in developing the health system’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) program, to which all proceeds from the race will go towards. The Penn Highlands GME program offers medical students and recent medical school graduates opportunities for rotations and one-on-one time with attending physicians to equip residents with the impatient and outpatient training they need to meet the demands of rural healthcare.

- One mile walk free for kids 12 and under
- One mile walk for adults $30 (includes t-shirt)
- Virtual one mile walk $30 (includes t-shirt)
- 5K run/walk for adults $30 (includes t-shirt)
- Virtual 5k run/walk $30 (includes t-shirt)
Register* before August 1st at phhealthcare.org/duganrace to guarantee a t-shirt. T-shirts will be distributed at the race or mailed to virtual participants.
