2024 Butterfly Release

Help us honor and remember our loved ones at a Live Butterfly Release.

Butterflies are set to soar at this annual event to provide our families with the opportunity to celebrate their loved ones as they navigate through their grief process. This program will consist of music, reflection, prayer, celebration of lives well lived and a Butterfly Release in the Serenity Garden.

It’s our mission to walk side by side with our patients, their loved ones and caregivers; offering support that extends beyond the physical and supports the emotional and spiritual needs as well. We know that grief is complicated and personal and our offer of support does not end once a loved one has passed. Our Butterfly Release is one of a variety of ways we offer ongoing care to our bereaved families.

Proceeds benefit the Hospice program of Penn Highlands Healthcare at Home. This event will be hosted rain or shine, but in case of inclement weather, the butterflies will be released when conditions are safe for acclimation to their new surroundings.
