Kaylin Strauser-Curtis, DO
Kaylin Strauser-Curtis, DO, is a board-certified physician specializing in interventional orthopedics and sports medicine. Dr. Strauser-Curtis completed both her fellowship and residency at Penn Highlands, where she was named chief resident. As a fellowship-trained specialist, she has achieved the highest level of education and training in her field. Strauser-Curtis has training in microinvasive surgical procedures including tenotomy and carpal tunnel release, interventional and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, orthobiologic injections (stem cell, platlet-rich plasma or “PRP”), concussion treatment, and sports performance optimization.
Strauser-Curtis has been involved with research studies on cutting-edge orthopedic treatments, including a recent publication in the Journal of Orthopaedic Exerience & Innovation in June 2022. Alongside four other physicians she published an article on “Ultrasound-Guided Tenotomy Via a Hydosurgery Resection Device Improves Symptoms of Chronic Elbow Tendinopathy: A Multi-Center Prospective Study.”
In addition to clinical practice, she has also served as the team physician for local high school and Division 1-level collegiate sports.
Strauser-Curtis is originally from Southern Clarion County, attended AC Valley School District and Clarion University, and is looking forward to serving the area where she grew up.
