Since becoming part of Penn Highlands Healthcare in 2019, the hospital’s care for the residents of Huntingdon County has been enhanced with the introduction of several new services and providers as well as improved access to care. Following this commitment to enhance care provided in our communities, Penn Highlands Healthcare is excited to complete $9 million in projects to expand services at Penn Highlands Huntingdon.
The new Hahne Cancer and Outpatient Infusion Center and expanded Behavioral Health Unit provide patients with a peaceful environment for treatment and healing.

- Treatments and Procedures: Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Hematology infusions and injections such as IV iron, Bone Marrow Biopsy.

- Treatments: Blood Transfusions, IV antibiotics, IV iron, Rheumatology infusions, Multiple Sclerosis Infusions, pulmonology injections and more.
- Nurses in the Outpatient Infusion Center insert Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters, commonly known as PICC lines, utilizing ultrasound and state-of-the-art ECG tip confirmation.
