PHH Receives Gift from CNB

Penn Highlands Healthcare recently received a generous gift of $100,000 from CNB Bank for renovation projects on two hospital campuses.

The donation will be used in part to fund a renovation project at the Emergency Department at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

“With thousands of people turning to us for life-saving care each year, our Emergency Department plays a vital role in the Clearfield and Moshannon Valley region,” said Mark Norman, chief operating officer of Penn Highlands Healthcare and interim president of Penn Highlands Clearfield. “Our gratitude for this generous gift is immeasurable as it will help us to enhance our facility as we strive to continuously provide our patients with the best care possible.”

The donation also will be used for the renovation of resident rooms and common areas at Pinecrest Manor, a 138-bed skilled nursing facility providing long-term, short-term and respite care to individuals from St. Marys and the surrounding communities.

“We do not take lightly the privilege of caring for our residents at Pinecrest Manor. This contribution will assist us in our goal to further enhance our home-like person-centered environment,” Bradley Chapman, president of Penn Highlands Elk, said. “We are incredibly fortunate to have such tremendous support from our community.”

“On behalf of our team at CNB Bank, I am proud to present this donation to Penn Highlands Healthcare,” stated Brian Wingard, executive vice president and chief financial officer of CNB Bank. “We are pleased to support the Penn Highlands renovation projects that will result in the continued delivery of high quality health care in the communities in which we live and work.”
